Default which of these 2 monitors should i get

moneys kinda an issue

monitor #1 $260 shipped- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001236

monitor #2 224$ shipped- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001094

I'm not much of a monitor guy so i decided to post my question here. I am looking at buying one or the other of these two monitors. I will be using it for gaming playing bf2, cs:s and just roaming the internet or what not. The main difference i know between them is first their length, which i really want a big one. and secondly, their response time 5 ms and 2 ms. From other gamers i hear that there really isnt much of a difference between 5 ms and 2 ms. If someone could let me know about contrast ratio or what not thatd help too as i dont know much about monitors, and also something about cabinet color being black or black to gray? Any info on these would help, thanks

I would go for the first one it has better resolution and a better contrast ratio.

The second one only has a respond time of 2ms. They are both good though.

If you want a good quality monitor, get the Dell 2007WFP.

Out of those two though, I'd say the 19" is kind of a ripoff, get the 21.6". You'll never need a 2ms response time.

Yeah, response time like that really shouldn't have too much weight on your decision. I'd definitely go for the 21", I just got this thing about big monitors, I'm still taking in my 22" wide.

get the 21" no doubt. the second one is cheaper though. but as long as price isnt a factor than the first one is a better choice
