Default Thermaltake 7" LCD display issues

ok, so i bought one of the Thermaltake A2413-01 7" LCD Touch screens and ive got all the touch software in and working but my X1800XT only has dual DVI so i have to use and adapter. So my problem is that I dont get any display on my 7" screen in windows regardless of resolution, refresh rate etc. I do see a picture if use only the 7" lcd but only untill its supposed to have the welcome screen.

If i plug the 7"lcd screen into my laptop i see the 7" display almost instantly which doesnt need the DVI - VGA adapter.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

those adapters can cause problems for some monitors. Did you try switching around your other monitor with the 7" one by trying both combinations of plugging them in? I don't know what else to tell ya.

If you are seeing boot up, up until the welcome screen, the resolution is wrong within Windows. Try 800x600, and work your way upwards from there..

yes, i've tried 800x600 and 1024x768 which both work on my laptop but not on my desktop machine.
