is there a way to identify your old motherboard without turning it on?

or without the manuals... because I don't have a manual and I need to be able to know how to hook up the power sw and reset sw and hdd led and the other 2 un marked leds attached to the hdd led... and the speaker led... but I need to identify the motherboard to find out how to hook it up because the pins are differen't that most

Well, usually there are labels for the buttons and LEDs, but if not, there should be a brand name somewhere on the motherboard.
