Default Is there a way to fix this for free?

I have been having problems with BSOD and such lately so I did a scan with registryfix and it found a serious problem with a startup file called %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k along with several other corrupt registry files. I know this is the problem because the BSOD says something about the mentioned file.

I need to fix this but registryfix will only fix it if i register (I have to pay $37 to register) and I think it is stupid to have to pay that much to make one quick fix. Is there another way I can fix this problem for free?

I really need some help with this one!

Well that link was legit, it helps somewhat. I have been looking at the startup and recovery settings but i didnt want to change anything because I dont exactly know what i am doing. I decided just now to try and change the one setting in the drop menu to '(none)' although I doubt this is going to solve my system crash problems.

I tested it for problems on http://www.hijackthis.de/ and it came up with nothing.

Notice that I bolded the dumprep 0 -k file that showed up. The site said that it is not dangerous but unnecessary so I guess i can get rid of it?

Yeah i read through it all but i think it was a solution to having error reporting turned off after restart and not how to fix the system crashes. Either way, I did what it said mainly because i know little about such a problem and as i sit i have not had a BSOD just yet but they just happen spontaneously so i dont know if the problem is fixed.

Ok i did it, but i used Hijackthis to remove it. I think it does the same thing.

EDIT - i also ran registryfix again and it says the startup problems (dumprep 0 -k) as mentioned before is gone.
