Default Are there any COMPLETE computer scans?

Hi, I was just wondering if there were any programs that did not only scan for one thing, but scan for things like viruses, registry, hard disk errors, etc. I find it really annoying to have to buy new software for every different type of scan. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Preety much what Atomic Rooster gave. Although, for HDD errors, the best way would be to get the manufacturer's disk diagnostics. It's the only way to find bad sectors accuratly.

Eeesh, Norton. I wouldn't really trust their stuff. Preety much everything is bad in there. Maybe they could have gone up the hill with the 360, but I am not really sure.

I like to use the many free programs that are avalable:

Anti Virus: AVG

Registry and file cleaner: CCleaner

Anti spyware: Adaware SE and Spybot S&D

For any HDD problems, I use the drive manufacturer's utility.
