Tf2 Fps???!??

When I first got my 5870, it would run at close to 300 fps at all times.

But today, I was in a dodgeball server and it stayed at like 90 fps!

What is going on?!

If it only runs tf2 at 90, Crysis would be next to unplayable.

Help me?

I think it's a max FPS lock.

make sure Vsync or anything like it is off.

I'm getting well over 300 FPS in TF2 myself, if I run into the same problem I'll let you know what I find out.

The server was probably limiting the frame output to take some load off the server. Either way 90 FPS is more than enough for a game. You would see virtually no difference between 300fps and 90fps.
