What would you guys say is the max temp I should see for my CPU and GPU?

MSI 6600GT
AMD Athlon 3700+ San Diego core, stock heatsink and fan for now =\

Idle, they run about CPU 37C, GPU 47C

i dont no about the cpu but the 6600GT GPU core slowdown threshold is 145c

What exactly is the core slowdown threshold, if it get's that hot it automatically holds back? Mines at 127..

For your 3700 you dont want to go over 55 under load.

Ok, it only raised to 38 with CS:s running, even with stock heatsink and fan. What about my 6600gt? Raised to 52 with CS:s from 47

the 6600gts can take a lot of heat, ive seen some get over 90C so ur fine, as for the cpu it looks fine for the stock heatsink
