Temp. Freezing problem...

that's not real flash, have you seen any comparisons anywhere that show what that card should be displaying (fps) ??

It is rather dated I suppose but i would have thought you'd get more than that, what settings are you running the game at???

i was getting 40-55 fps before just running the "optimal settings" gives me most of the details turned up and res set @ 640x800

and now, at those settings, you're only getting ~7 fps ??

What are the clock settings???

Can you run 3DMark06 for me and post the result?

clock settings core: 470 mem: 1100
3dmark score is now 631, before it was 7555.

k so im back to normal fps, ill hvae to check about the temp freezes tho still. i didn't have the 6-pin power plugged back into the card... >.<

lmao, simple mistake mate, you're not the first and I doubt you'll be the last to do it.

I'm surprised that the NVIDIA Sentinel never kicked in and alerted you to the fact the card had reduced power supply.

Have you had any further freezes since you plugged it in?

no i havn't, the freezing problem seems to be fixed! many thanks man! but i still have the "not responding" problem when i open or switch to CoD multiplayer. its done it on every CoD i've owned. and idk what the problem is. any ideas at all?
