Well with the way you're acting right there I honestly support your Dad on this one. I mean if you can't even handle this in a mature way, then who's to know what you'll be doing once this NetNanny thing is gone?

It doesn't matter how long you've been using a PC, if your father feels that he needs to put a program on there to keep watch over you, then he can do it. He's the one who bought the computer, he pays for the internet, he pays for the electricity. You really don't have any say in what he does or does not use.

Your father is probably just trying to look out for you, seeing as how there's a near-infinate amount of things on the internet. He probably just wants to keep an eye out on what kind of content you're viewing. But the monitoring your conversations over MSN. AIM, Yahoo! Messenger or ICQ, he's probably just making sure no one asks you to do anythign that he himself feels is wrong for you to do.

So all in all just be thankful that you have a PC and that you have the internet, because only 50% of Americans don't own a PC or even have the internet, so just be thankful for what you have and don't abuse it. :)

ugghh. I dont go on porn i dont download or buy illegal sex. I dont deal drugs i dont do drugs. and im very calm i dont curse to often. But this is the one thing that has really pissed me off... as if i dont have enough stuff to deal with. And my dad just quincidently installed it the day of my report card and bad grades. And omg I bought the computer and me and him split the money for the internet i pay 75% cuz im the only one who mostly uses the computer. So in my opinion i have every fucking right to have say in waht goes on IN MY COMPUTER. but neways ive found ways to disable it and thanks for all ur guys' help.
