Default taking pc offline use less ram?

If you take your pc offline does it use less ram therefore letting the computer run at normal speed even when running multiple programs. I am maxed out ram wise and just would like to know if I can keep the speed up by going offline.

Thanks

I would say it would affect it slightly. But, I'm not sure..wait a little more for the other guys to give you a sure answer. How much RAM have you got in it?

Barely, if any at all. I'm not entirely sure though. Web browsers use about 40mbs of RAM.

If you have a desktop, and you're that desperate for RAM, you can get 1GB for less than $20: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820161675

Although that is slow RAM, and it would slow down your preexisting RAM if it were faster. But you can still get faster RAM for fairly cheap.

Nope. Just being connected to the internet uses no memory. It's only when you have a program open that accesses the internet is where the RAM usage goes.
