System Standby Failed- Help

My computer wont go into standby. I keep getting a message that says "the service microsoft .net framework v1.1.4322 update is preventing the system from entering standby. Try stopping this service and try again."

How would i stop that or could i just remove the program all together?

You shouldn't remove the program, as many web applications use it and it is required for them (more than you think). Try pressing Ctrl-Shift-Esc to go to Task Manager, then go to Processes, and find the one that says .net framework.

Not sure, but wouldn't updating the .net framework fix that problem?
