Default System Mechanic 6

I'm just curious if this program is worth using. A friend of mine didn't want it and gave it to me because he didn't want it anymore. I'm curious as to if this program is worth installing or if I should just get rid of it.

I'm not sure if it's the one popups always talk about. The one popups always talk about is Winfixer. I've seen system mechanic at best buy before so I doubt it's spyware or anything.
It's supposed to be an optimizer thing but I don't know how good it is.
