"system failed cpu test"...

that's what my P4B said to me last night, is she...dead...? or maybe it's just the processor...? I took my whole system apart, reseated the heatsink and she won't say anything but "system failed cpu test", and she says it over and over...

at first I thought it was just because of the overclocking, but she usually says "system failed due to overclocking" and I can just reset my cmos, but it didn't work, I tried about 10 times...

I want to order a new socket 478 processor, but what's the use if my mobo is the problem...?

any suggestions...?

Best thing to do would be to try the processor in another pc, if you can. A faulty PSU could cause that error aswell.

remember, she talks to me ...

I hear her voice everytime I boot up because my mobo fan connections are fried, "cpu fan failed"...

hopefully it's the psu, the mobos old, but it gets the job done and talks...
