P4 3.0Ghz, 1GB ddr400 and a 6800GT can run BF2 all on high, all eye candies on etc.

But the 2GB will help on loading times and with 2GB u won't have that much lagging at the beginning of the round. With the specs I said above and those setting it runs well, but some lag at the beginning.

It's like really laggy for the first 10-20 seconds and after that works fine.

Is that card pci ex. or agp? Actually, I don't think that they made 9800pro pci ex. Ok... if you want this comp to last you, screw that 9800. That card is feeling its age. Get a card that's around the same price, but that's newer, and will perform better and last you longer. How much is that card? A x800 would perform twice as good... if pci ex....
