Dear Bluto,

No need to be a jerk, I was told it could protect against hackers, pop up ads, spyware etc. I have a firewall and if that is enough protection why not just say so? Do you like making people feel like idiots for asking a simple question?
You asked a ? I gave an answer. What kind of answer where you expecting ?
Yes the web is a dangerous place. Those hackers are everywhere, especialy at government sites,Not the home user.
;)
So relax man.unless your a CEO or something.
I don't use a Firewall,I don't worry about hackers.
There are other ways but nobody wants to take me on,too bad as i'm happy and protected.
Please edit "jerk" or say goodby.

Lol; it is a point. It does bring up the question what you're hiding if you seem to need to surf the web anonimously - not even taking into account that it is near on impossible to do so and not cheap.

Plus the fact that you can't do the usual shit when surfing the web anonymously, most sites won't let an anon log in.

Yeah - so many now need Cookies to make the web-browsing experience so much more interesting; and in the case of Forums it would be impossible to use one in Anon; as you'd be logging on every page you go to.

It really isn't worth it.
