Supermicro X6DAE-G2 power up problem

I've just swapped out my X6DAE system from one box to another and now I'm unable to boot up my system. When I attach the power supply the fans power up for about a second then power down again. If I wait a few seconds and press the power button again the same will happen. No LEDs light up.

I have disconnected all peripherals. I have tried it without memory and with different combinations of system fans all to no avail. I have reset the system CMOS and still no luck. Any suggestions?

Yeah, make sure you're not shorting something out under the board. Take the system apart and put it together on your desk, then try powering it on there. If it works, it's a possible short (loose screw, something touching that shouldn't be)

If you don't get any power or POST on the desk, then you probably fried something with ESD or something like the CPU isn't inserted correctly.
