OK, I'm thinking about doing this. I have an old athlon computer I no longer use, so I was just gonna toss all of the components except for the HDD and CD drive into a rubbermaid box, and fill it up with vegetable oil, just to do it. Advice? Ideas? This is just a test run, if I can get this to work good, I'm probably gonna make a case for my current PC, and include a radiator.

Mineral oil is better from what I hear. You'll have to create a custom motherboard tray.

whats menards?
haha and where can i get oil?
if i do it mad simple design just small Plexiglas case with a fan for circulation and some leds XD

Custom motherboard tray? What for? From what I understand, motherboard trays are just to keep the mobo off of conductive stuff so it doesn't short. Not much conductive in a plastic box with oil
