Question Stumped

Hi,
I have a HP computer that wont read burnt disc's, now these discs work in other computers without any problems.

It will read windows discs and music cds but wont read data discs
and also wont read The SIMs Disc.

Everything but the CPU and Ram has been replaced including different windows programs.

Does anyone know of a bug that could be in the ram or cpu causing this problem. As I am at a lose as to what could be causing this.

Sincerely

hendos4

Default

is the cd drive a burner or cdrom, if its cdrom it may be too old to read cdrw, but my old mac for 1995 could read them..
