Student Business/ Gaming Computer - Please Read.

first of all get rid of all that fancy crap that you dont need like the 70$ mouse etc then get a procesor with 800 fsb and 1024 cache memory and get a radeon 9800 pro or x800 xt if your mobo supports pci express. You can get the 9800 pro pretty cheap if you get it OEM but its not made by ATI that way. Anyway dont get the 9600 especially if its only 128 mb. The 9800 is much much much better.

Here are my recommendations.

Delete out the PCI TV Tuner card. and get a All-in-Wonder card.

I recommend one of these.

The 9800 has to be purchased by today.

Get rid of the Aerocool Black GateWatch its pricey and not needed in any way.

Also ditch that Sound Card. Its junk. Just use the Onboard.

Get a better motherboard, which you said you have done. Then upgrade your processor a bit.

First of all, trash the Pentium 4 and get an Athlon XP 3000+ or 3200+ and get a nice overclocking heatsink like the Tt Extreme Volcano 12+, it's what i use and my 3000+ runs like a 3400+. Get a nice Albatron KX18DProI/II for a mobo, excellent gaming performance with no onboard video. Get a good video card. I'd recommend a GeForce FX 5900NU and flash the BIOS to a 5950Ultra; great value. The ram is excellent. Trash the case, just get a nice little 20 dollar case like I did, a nice MGE H-1. Get whatever hard drive fits the bill. I got a decent Seagate 80GB. Well, that's all my pointers.
PS: An Athlon XP 3200+ costs around 190 bucks.
A 3000+ costs 150, and add a 30 dollar heatsink to it and it's 180, overclock it to a 446FSB and watch it run at 3400+ (2343Mhz)

please copy and paste my list from above and change it to what you think is best.. Aerocool Black GateWatch and case stay.. rest is changable

THANKS SO SO MUCH TO ALL WHO HELP

Ok, I help you out. Here goes, ready? BTW, I recommend this system to anyone who walks and breaths with a budget, being that it pwns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has DUAL graphics cards, 3500+ AMD64 in it, GREAT MOBO!!, and nice Harddrive! Price is still under 1,100. However, ZipZoomFly is where 2 of the parts are coming from, rest is from newegg, but ZZF is a GREAT retailer with FREE 2nd DAY!!

Enjoy:

Whatever Drives you need, use newegg, and find sales. Whatever case you like, get. Etc etc. Those coere components are top of the line however. Nothing except more money can beat this PC.

AMD64 + PCi Express + SATA = GOD OF PCs!! :D

TOTAL COST SO FAR- $1,110. You could get a lower Processor, and save $75 or so, or you could do one GPU, but I would say go for it, then you wont have to mess with the PC anymore!!

SATA is 150. U/ATA is 133. Windows is restricted to less then 66. You really don't need two graphics cards, besides Nvidia is busy working on a new line and the need for two will be obsolete.

(AMD Zen, I'm not attacking you here.. just offering my own advice)

nVidia's new line is the 6900 series, which will be PCI Express. They will be SLi capable, and two of them is better then one... Windows sucks!! I hate windows for only allowing...wait...66??? HUH?? i thought it was 100! If it is 66, I swear I am going to go and call Microsoft and kill them all!! WHAT A BUNCH OF DUMB ASSES!! 66!! WHo does that crap!
