Default Stuck Between 2 Video Cards

Hey all, I'm currently stuck between buying a NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT 512MB 16X PCI Express(EVGA Powered) or a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB 16X PCI Express (Also EVGA Powered).

I do not know which would be better for gaming, videos, all that jazz.

Could anyone suggest one? As well as the main difference (if any) between the two?

Thanks!

Also what kind of power supply would i need to run an SLI setup of each card?
As in 2 7950's
or
2 8800's?

Would a 700W be enough?

(One more question! SORRY!!: Do you need 2 optical drives to be able to burn CD's, watch dvd's, or install games ? Or will one do it?

the single 8800 will out-do a sli hookup of the 7950's. I have the normal version of teh 88 GTS and it kills. 700 watts will be good enough. With evga, make sure you register your card, that way you'll get a life-time warranty on it.

to answer your seconed question, depening on how your burning, you usually only need one optical drive. Software such as nero makes this process a lot easier.

If he doesn't game as hard.. he definitely doesn't need two 8800GTS... actually no one really needs that right now..
