stream music from computer to stereo

i was wonder is there is any way to stream music from my PC to my stereo? and if so, what would i need

yeah, just get a 3.5 mm (headphone jack) to two phono lead and hook it up, the 3.5 mm jack goes in your headphone output from your comp, the two phonos into the back (input bit) of your stereo . That is what I did with mine and it works fine.
I'm assuming your computer has a headphone output (thats what you plug it into) and your stereo has a phono input.

ok but my computer is about 13 feet from my stereo. i have one of those cables your talking about (i think) but its olny about 2 feet. do they make longer ones?

edit: its more like 13 feet.

you could just take a Portable CD player Disk for your car, and Splice the wires and make it 10 ft long and put it in the tape deck and press play and turn your music on that works to. I did that Way back in the day
