Strange Dell Mini 1010 Problems with AC adapter

I have an old Dell Mini 1010 laying around and I wanted to see if I could get it up and running not too long ago. So I plugged it in and nothing lights up or works. I had a second one not too long ago that I recently sold, so I charged up the battery in that one and put it in this one and it works perfectly.
It seems as if the computer is not accepting power when plugged in. I do not remember damaging or bumping it when plugged in. I put it away a couple years ago working, and now it is not. Is there a known problem with this computer?
