Sticky? Dual Boot Vista and XP

Dont agree with your last comment, i personally think its easier to start with XP. Thats also the way MS recommends.:)
 
Definitely not worth a sticky, but I agree with mammi.

Personally, I started with XP, and it worked great. At bootup, I get a choice between Vista or "Older Microsoft Operating System" or something along those lines. No setup done at all, I just installed Vista and it worked right away.
 
You might also want to add that if the edition is Vista Ultimate or Vista Enterprise, in order to shrink the partition you have to turn bitlocker off.

I cant imagine anyone having a problem with this, all you do is make a partition big enough for vista... and install vista on that partition and viola you get a boot loader asking for vista or an earlier version of windows.
