some programs probably fake you out just so you think their program is good, that makes sense anyway if they are trying to get business. I haven't had many problems, i usually just use zone alarm free version and just use the online trend micro antivirus scan and spyware scan which is both free, i've tried some of the other ones, but they just seem kind of unreliable.
