Spooler?

So my bosses laptop, like new Dell is having an issue with printer connectivity: it recognizes the multiple printers that we've tested, but every so often, more often than not an error will occur about the "spooler" I shoot myself now for not jottin' down the exact message that appeared.

Does this sound familar to anyone?

I'll try to get a more specific error message if neccesary.

Yeah, try updating drivers.

what drivers would I update? For the printer or specified laptop?

And I couldn't imagine this is a new 'dell issue' as :

This poster, had the issue in 2005, or at least it sounds similar.

It's most likely the printer driver that needs upgrading.

How are you connected to the printer, that could make all the difference here.
