Smile Split File, joined, now currupt.

Hello. I need help as quickly as possible. I have gotten a file that was split into 32 pieces. I have joined them together and it came out as just a file. No file extension. But there are files inside it. When I open in in 7-zip it can see them in there. But cannot do anything with them. I get the error "File broken". So I added the file extension .zip. And well that just made it a zip, but still currupt. Does anyone have any ideas?

First of all, how did the file get broken into 32 peices, what file type was it originally, and how did you rejoin them? Chances are you won't be able to get that file back and working. But let me know the answers to what I just asked and I may be able to help you. I hope this doesn't come to late!
