In the first place it's just skimming over some well know maintinance procedures. If you want this stickied you're going to have to ask David himself. Putting up stickies is a major sore point between the mods.

one little problem the indexing thing... the consiquenses weigh out the benefits, it uses alot of ram and that can cause the fan to work long and loud.
