I've tried it in mozilla and it does make a small difference but nothing amazing

does it put more stress on servers? i know most sites i go to could handle it, including this one, C2D power but im curious now.

Yeah, it must put more pressure on servers. How else would it work?

The plugin states that it does so, at its fastest setting.
