Default Spectra monitors?

Does anyone have any experience with Specra brand monitors? I want one (or two!) badly after seeing them here. He has them setup as dual monitors which is also something I've been wanting to do. And they're 23" which is 4" more than my current computer monitor. I also do some multimedia editing and since the Spectra X23WG1080p is HD I can edit in HD.

Does anyone have any experience with this brand of monitors and if so which one would you recommend if it isn't the one above?

I bought one from a tiger direct store and it was dead when I took it out of the package. This is my only experience with the brand and I won't ever use it again.

"Brilliant WXGA+ 1440x900 resolution" eh? I thought it was meant to be 1080p?
Or is that right?
It does look slightly ugly for a computer monitor.

1440x900 is a horrible resolution for a 23" monitor. Buy something else.

Stop the genocide now.
