Spec check help PLEASE

Hey well basiclly i am getting a new case and HDD the HDD will just be for storage so i just wanted to check that it will fit work with my Mobo and case.

Motherboard : 8I915PMD *Cant find any info on this but it says on the mobo

SATA0
SATA1
SATA2
SATA3

Next to ports which look like well SATA ports buch just want to make sure

Do you think the motherboard will work with that case?

it should do how many sata devices do you have plugged in at the moment ?

the details you have given us indicates you borad can support 4 devices so if youir old drive is SATA thats 1 then your CD drive might be sata ? thats 2??

well do you have a spare sata cable ? coz most drives dont come with em.

also the case should be fine

Only 1 of those ports are being used which is from my Only HDD.

So i should have 3 in which i can use for the new HDD?

yep that all sounds about right lol.

if you got 3 ports left then you have 3 devices left to plug in and yes 1 of them can be a new hardrive.
