Speakers?

Alright im in need of new speakers and sound card! I wanna keep it relatively cheap. I also want to be able to hook my Wii or 360 up to this sound system. I am looking at this speaker system:

and im trying to find a couns card to work with this speaker set and Windows Vista As Well. I will use it for MP3 playback and gaming. I was looking at the 7.1 Audigy but i dont know if its compatible with 5.1 and vista? And will it be sufficient?

I no they are 2.1 but the reviews look promising and it is a good price and brand.

looks like he is set for speakers. i dont know about the vista compatiblity but i know a 7.1 sound card IS compatible with 5.1 speakers.

you can also hook in another 2 speakers later on to have AMAZING 7.1 surround sound

w8 so u cant take the speakers i recommended and buy 2 and link em up so theres 2 woofers and 4 Satellites

yep as long as you got a sound card with enough jacks. bear in mind though that a setup like wouldnt be 5.1 as a 2.1 setup only uses 2 channels. so that would only use 4 channels. it would still kick @$$
