Go to your device manager and look under "sound devices" and see what it says there. Then go to the manufacturers website and download the appropriate drivers.

I'd recommend just going for an upgrade. My Soundblaster sounds horrible, I have to record everything on my keyboard and move it over via USB. I've been saving up for a good audio interface, there's quite a few out there. Don't dip under 600 bucks. If you'd like, I'll try pointing you out.
