I currently use a somewhat old soundcard, an Creative Audigy Soundblaster 24-bit w/ firewire model# SB0090. When i first installed it, i got some pretty bad crackling so logically i did a driver update to correct the problem. Now this wasn't easy because finding a driver for this particular card proved to be difficult (it doesn't appear to be that common). Now that i did the driver update the problem went away but has recently returned once again. The most recent driver i could find was of late 2002 i think. Is there a patch or anything that can fix this?
