Soundblaster X-Fi supported sound cards are officially out at Newegg. I guess Audigy 2 is finally the thing of the past. Looks good specwise. 40% faster gaming performance compared to Audigy 2. Prices are as low as $129!!!! Not bad.

I hear you there. A nice speaker system like that has soooo much potential. The X-fi is the choice of sound cards now. Makes my rig feel another generation older. What I dont understand is how could the new cards have 4 ports on the back compared to the 6 ports on the Audigy 2 cards. Here's a picture of it:

Yeah, I'm gonna stick with my current one for my new rig (see signature), but when I save up more, I'll get the XtremeMusic one.

hey man.. the 40% is way off.. think about it.. if i muted my sound cards.. or didnt have any at all.. doesnt mean the game's gonna be 40% better in performance..

i know, i actually saw that as well but i think it does slight improve the performance if you put the sound quality on high.. which i always do.... audigy 2 is decent i guess... but yeha go with the fatal1ty if you have the money.. i wanted to SO bad.. but i got this crapp OEM version of audigy 2 for $70 flat CAD.

Doesn't this statement just want to make you go out and buy this card?

I got that from the Soundblaster website. They really emphasized that part, "...so damn good". Now I'm really going to get this next time.
