Default sound distortion

i have a built in 5.1 sound card on my mobo, but every time i move the move, click the buttons or scroll, there is distortion on my speakers. this is only when the usb charger for my mouse is plugged in though (i have a wireless mouse). any ideas on how to stop it making the annoying distortion?
