Sound coming only from one speaker?

Ok, I tried thaT and still no luck, and then I tried a different pair of speakers; still the same deal... I am using the Realtek ALC650 drivers for an nVidia mobo (with onboard sound)

Anything else i could try?

in the volume control the right left balance may be corrent but also check it in the media player your using. this issue happened once to me. In the volume controll all was ok until i noticed in winamp i had it all the way on the right speaker... i felt like a goose, i was about to go and get new speakers! lucky i didnt hahaha =p

go to control panel and have a play with the settings make sure its set to be only 2 speakers etc for all you no the computer thinks its got 5.1 surround sound plugged in

in an extreme case being that its an onboard sound card check the bios maybe
