Default sound card trouble.

I have a Creative Labs 24bit live card and it can't do the surround sound on BFII. all the sound effects are fine but the voices are all choppy.

I have a ATI X800
AMD 3500+
and a gig of dual channel corsair pro series.

What kind of speakers do you have? They have to be 5.1 surround speakers to go with the 5.1 sound card.

I have Logitech 5.1 speakers. The sound effects are all in surround sound and work fine but the voices are choppy.

I had a similar problem with the "Matrix" game awhile back. I threw that game away because I was upset about the dialogue too. Try reinstalling the game. SHould have had it replaced because maybe it could be a bad CD.

Does the sound come out nice other than in BF2? So the problem is only isolated in this particular game and nowhere else? Try reinstalling it.

I dunno. I don't have any other games that use surround sound.
