Right well im not that techy so i will say what i can
I am haveing problems with my sound card. The sound card is a Realtek AC97 Audio inbuilt 7.1 Surround sound card. The problem is that i can hear everything like music from windows media player and sounds from windows live messenger but i can't hear the sounds like windows start up, skype and DirectX Diagnostic Tool Tests.
When ever someone calls me on skype the sound played is comming from the inside of my computer, from the midi speaker or something :S.
I dont know why this is happening please help.
