Sound?

hi guys Ive got a friend that i play counter-strike source with and he has a sound problem were his sound automatically turns down when your looking at the the windows sound its just pulls itself down like a ghost is controlling it i believe it to be a virus but its the only problem so idk suggestions would be nice

You could try reinstalling audio drivers.

yes we did its the oddest thing Ive ever seen Ive seen some weird stuff too like device manager completely blank but sound moving like a ghost is doing it so awful weird we ran a virus scan and nothing so idk id tell him to reformat but he doesn't have any drivers
