Anyone know how to start a Sony Vaio laptop in safe mode?

I think you're suppose to press F8 during the boot process and select Safe Mode. Keep tapping at it after it beeps during POST. I think F5 goes directly into Safe Mode??? Don't know...try and see.

if that^^ doesnt work go into windows click run and type in msconfig. It will take you to a screen that has a boot tab on it and check isafeboot then ok and it will ask you if you want to restart or continue, click restart and it should work.
