Default Someone asked me to build them a computer

They want the budget to be under 1000 canadian, monitor isn't included in that price. I haven't really been up to date with all the new parts coming out these days (last time i built a computer was in the 7800gt era) so I was wondering if you guys could show me a collaboration of parts for a decent gaming computer from www.ncix.com

Remember to keep it under 1000 please. The lower the better

in the long run there the same, if you want a good high end PC, go either or, if u want to save money but get a good PC, go AMD.

i dont see why ppl get a Core I7 920 or higher, only thing they do is good benchmarking lol. atleast to the average user/gamer amd is better.

You will have to make sacrifices to get the peripherals (Mouse, Keyboard, Sound system, etc), and because I don't know his style, he should do that himself.
