Well amber usually means standby on a screen so it's probably a loose conection somewhere beetwen your computer and screen check the cables and if still no luck try using a different cable borrow one from one of your friends

it is a no go because i have switched monitors. i'm pretty sure it is the ps just looking for a second on the motion
