If you can, get the AMD Athlon64 for a bit more money. It won't cost that much more to be honest, but the performance will SKYROCKET.
 
Please do, you will not be disappointed. Get a 939pin CPU and Motherboard if at all possible on your budget, but if not, then go 754pin.
 
It's a bit of a stretch but if I just save up I might get it soon enough.
Oh yeah and what do you think of athalon xp's?
