I am getting 512 of ram though although at the mom i havent got a gaming graphics card although i dont really want one.

When you buy a new mobo, you have to ask yourself these things:

Am I going to play games on it?
Am I going to do work only on it?

You have to be sure what you're buying. As for the socket, the box tells the socket, but also the CPU bay

Umm... so.. did you find a motherboard? BTW, you might just switch CPUs to and AMD Athlon64 while you are at it, since Celerons are like.. the WORST PROCESSOR ever concieved.

lol cheers umm I have decided that I am selling my comp to my sis and buying parts to build myself a new one, and I was thinking of getting myself a amd sepron??? Is it any good?

Semprons are OK.. AMD64s are far better. What kinda budget are you looking at dirty?
