Im surprised nobody has posted this yet. At least nothing came up in the search and I havent seen it posted. Oh well, AMD now has an official date set for the release of their new socket, AM2. The schedualed realease date is June 6th.

I thought it was going to be released like in October or September. I wasnt expecting it so soon.

im lookin forward to see what those cpus can do but im still gona stick with the older socket 939 for a couple of years

Looks like we'll be getting a bunch of people upgrading this summer. If I ever get more money, that's what I'm going to do.
