Default So many things wrong with my comp

I'm just going to reinstall WinXP. But now it says that it can't reinstall it because there is a newer version on my comp than on the disc, which I am assuming is SP2, how would I go about removing SP2 so I can reinstall XP?

Some Options:

1: Take it to a computer shop and pay 5 bucks for them to wipe everything

2: Install Linux on it then Install Windows XP Over That

3: Buy a Newer XP Version to Reinstall

4: Deal with it until Viruses Infections Spyware Trojans and Malware comes out (Vista)

5: Go To Add/Remove Programs and click the check box to allow windows updates to be shown and remove everything that looks techy then reinstall
