That happens to me sometimes with vista. Is it still their even after you restart the PC?

It's an image of a cat it looks like.
Check your background image.
Right click on the desktop > properties > select background tab > set to none > click apply then ok.
Might be a part of the back ground. I just blew it up to 400% and I was right about what it is.

I know this sounds funny but it's happened to my friend before. Well he when you leave the LCD Monitor running and the screen is exactly the same for an hour or so (thats why they have power mode) the image becomes sort of.. stained..

Is this true or was he just screwing with me?
