Default SLow comp please help

OK here are my comp specs:

Intel Pentium 4 3.00 ghz(dual processers meaning two intel pentium 4 3.00ghz)
512mb ram
450watts power supply
Nvidia GEforce 5750

ok the error i get ... is:

System failure due to cpu overclocking.

ok well i guess its pretty clear and the reason why my comp is slower than my other comp which has 2.4ghz cpu is that its prolly overclocked to much... does anyone no how i can fix this??!?!?

...Well, have you overclocked it? If you have, then just change the settings back to the way they were in the BIOS...

Yeah, reset back to factory defaults. That's not a D though, is it? The pent. 4 with "hyper threading" technology processes info LIKE two processors, but, in reality, it's still ONE cpu. Don't get that mixed up.
