slight boot problem

i have just installed a usb host controller ever since my boot up takes ages it gets to the windows post then goes blank and hangs for ages until finaly it boots but i have noticed i only seem to get this problem when i instal usb 2.0 drivers i have had this fault before with onboard usb 2.0 but i dont understand why.

when you say usb host controller, do you mean a muti tap for usb, or did ur origional usb sockets go bad??

i mean i have put a pci usb controler.but i have also experienced the problem with my onboard usb's too.
it seems to be after i have installed the usb 2.0 drivers. i think
