Default sli and crossfire

im sure i know the answer but just wanted to be sure

can a crossfire ready(not in crossfire) video card run fine in a sli ready mobo
and vise versa?

no, you cant do sli on a crossfire board

Yes it will work. Just don't try to run two ATI cards in Crossfire on an SLI board, that won't work. But a single card will be fine.
